Postwar Banner and Streamers. Organized in 1860, the three-year regiment was not accepted for service until May 1861 and received the colors October 1861. When the regiment was mustered out of service in June 1864, the flag was literally shot to pieces during the war, so the veterans made this small banner to attach to the flagstaff.
